Bath boasts the 3rd prettiest street in the country

Bath doesn’t just outperform the rest of the country in terms of capital growth and rental returns. Our city also boasts the third prettiest street in the UK, according to a survey conducted by National Express. The winning street? The Circus…

The Circus is up there with the Royal Crescent. Completed in 1768, it consists of three curved segments of Grade I listed Georgian townhouses, which have been arranged as a circle. It’s a wonderful place to live with properties boasting stunning views and a wealth of character in the heart of our city centre.

Over the years, we have sold and let many apartments at the Circus. Unsurprisingly, due to the street's iconic status, properties are highly sought after so are snapped up quickly, and home owners and tenants are prepared to pay a premium to live there. As a result, it is one of the most expensive streets to live on in Bath. Owners can expect strong house price growth whilst landlords can receive good rental returns.

It’s not just the Circus however in high demand. Bath boasts many pretty streets offering a variety of listed apartments to suit all tastes.

My top tips to ensure you are above the competition as a buyer or tenant would be to… act quickly, have the funds available right away and ensure you have all the references you need to show that you are an excellent tenant.
